Cleaning works

Terrace cleaning in Knokke and Het Zoute.

By the sea a terrace soon turns green and slippery. We clean wooden decks, tiles and pavers, clear the joints of weeds and re-joint where needed.

What we do

Which terraces we clean

Wooden decks, terraces in tiles or natural stone and paved areas. Roof terraces and the terrace around a pool too. Every material reacts differently, so we first look at the material and its condition and then choose the approach.

Weeds and joints

Weeds grow between tiles and pavers and the joints wash out. We clear the terrace of weeds and re-joint where needed, so it stays level and water can drain away.

Why a terrace on the coast gets dirty faster

Salt, sand and moisture stay on the surface. In places with little sun a green film is added, and that makes a terrace slippery. Cleaning before the season, and again when it is needed, keeps the terrace usable and cared for.

How it goes

You send a few photos of the terrace and mention the material and the approximate surface. Often that is enough for a guide price. After your approval we schedule the cleaning, also when you are not there yourself.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you clean wooden decks too?

Yes. Wood calls for a different approach than tiles or pavers. We look at the wood and its condition beforehand.

Can the terrace be cleaned while I am away?

Yes. We agree beforehand how and when, and you hear what has been done.

Do I need to know the surface area?

An estimate helps but is not required. A few photos are usually enough for us to judge.

Can you include the garden furniture and the driveway?

Yes. Mention it in your request and we look at everything together.
